Either way, Jared Porter, whether this was a one time deal or not, is an absolute CREEP! 62 unanswered messages and one that included your fully erect penis? Give me a fuckin break guy. That’s some seriously disturbed behavior. That shit is like a seed that grows into a full blown criminal. I don’t know Jared Porter, I never have and probably never will meet him, so maybe it was a one time mistake that very much out of character. But the line for out of character mistake was drawn like 55 messages prior to when he decided to fire off a boner, so as far as I’m concerned, guys a full blown weirdo and deserves getting dragged.
Rise to a position of power, have some great success, keep rising, mistreat some women who you assume should be head over heels in love with you. Just standard stuff for people in charge of things. It’s nothing new.
The Mets now have a decision to make. Keep Porter and his 62 unanswered messages and let this linger since I don’t believe anything actually illegal happened, even though 62 should get you the chair. Or cut ties from the stink that is this story and continue on with Zach Scott, their Senior VP/Assistant to the GM who was option B behind Porter.
There really isn’t anything that can shock me with the Mets. So even though I was fully enjoying the organizational change, Lindor and the nice momentum the Mets had going, I saw Jared Porters dick coming from a mile away. I was so ready for Jared Porters dick to come. You just aren’t a real life long Mets fan if you don’t have your head on a swivel ready for a load of bad news coming to cut you down at the knees.
